Pete’s presentation on the first day of classes to over 500 of our student-athletes was engaging, entertaining, and incredibly impactful. Pete drew our students out of their comfort zones and helped them to grow with one another by creating a fun and safe environment to have real and authentic conversations. His time with us has helped guide and lead us down a path for a better tomorrow. We are forever grateful for the experience Pete allowed our student-athletes to have!"

As the current Project Director for UNL's SSS TRIO Scholars Program and former Team Leader of Lincoln Southwest High School's Counseling Center, it is always an invaluable experience for students and staff to participate in Peter Ferguson's presentations. As a result of Peter actively engaging them during the presentations, they are being empowered to become agents of change. Peter challenges his audiences to consider the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. -- “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” For me, it has been an amazing opportunity to see former high school scholars who are now college students, as well as young professionals making a positive difference in the lives of current students because of the impact that Peter Ferguson had on their lives.
