Peter Ferguson is a visionary leader, connector, and champion for youth and the adults who support them, dedicated to aligning heart, purpose, and practice. With over 25 years in education, nonprofits, government, and community leadership, he delivers people-centered, purpose-driven programming and facilitation. Founder of Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC, he also serves as Multicultural Coordinator and Scholar Development / Assistant Supervisor of Recruiting for Lincoln Public Schools. Host of 93.7 The Ticket’s Bigger Than the Score, his work appears in the Emmy-nominated We Will Not Be Silent.  A pending author, he’s also a proud girl dad and gas-station-food enthusiast.

Peter Ferguson is a catalyst for purpose-driven leadership, known for inspiring both individuals and institutions to align their values, systems, and hearts for lasting impact. With more than 25 years of experience spanning education, nonprofits, corporate and government sectors, and community organizations, Peter brings a rare blend of strategic insight and human connection to every room he enters.

As the founder and Primary Belief Officer of Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC, and in his role as Multicultural Coordinator and Scholar Development / Assistant Supervisor of Recruiting for Lincoln Public Schools, Peter champions belonging, equity, and growth for adults and youth alike.

A former nonprofit executive and host of the weekly radio show Bigger Than the Score on 93.7 The Ticket, Peter’s work has been honored with recognitions including the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Chancellor’s Fulfilling the Dream Award and the Y.W.C.A. Mentors and Allies Award. His story is also featured in the Heartland Emmy-nominated documentary We Will Not Be Silent.

Beyond the mic, classroom, and meeting room, Peter honors the legacy of his late mother, a 40-year educator, through advocacy in the fight against Alzheimer’s. He’s a proud girl dad, a loyal fan of gas station snacks and mocha drinks, and the self-proclaimed third-best athlete in a household of three.
