Peter Ferguson is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of people and purpose. With over 25 years of experience in education, nonprofits, government, and community leadership, he helps individuals and organizations align their hearts, systems, and purpose as founder of Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC. He currently serves as Coordinator of Culture, Inclusion, and Scholar Development and Assistant Supervisor of Recruitment for Lincoln Public Schools. Peter hosts Bigger Than the Score on 93.7 The Ticket, and his work features in the Emmy-nominated documentary We Will Not Be Silent. He’s also a proud girl dad and gas station snack enthusiast.

Peter Ferguson brings over 25 years of experience across multiple industries, with a deep focus on adult and youth development, leadership, inclusion, belonging, and engagement. His work spans K–12 and post-secondary education, nonprofits, corporate and government sectors, and community-focused organizations—driven by a belief in investing in people through their purpose.
Peter is the founder and Primary Belief Officer of Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC, where he helps individuals and institutions align their values, systems, and hearts for lasting impact. He is providing service as Coordinator of Culture, Inclusion, and Scholar Development and Assistant Supervisor of Recruitment for Lincoln Public Schools.
A former nonprofit executive, Peter also hosts the weekly radio show Bigger Than the Score on 93.7 The Ticket. He is a proud graduate of Hastings College—and has been recognized for his work with numerous honors, including the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Chancellor’s Fulfilling the Dream Award and the Y.W.C.A. Mentors and Allies Award.
His story and service are featured in the Heartland Emmy-nominated documentary We Will Not Be Silent, produced by Lincoln Public Schools.
On a personal note, Peter honors the legacy of his mother—a 40-year educator—through his advocacy in the fight against Alzheimer’s. He is a proud girl dad and a connoisseur of gas station snacks and mocha drinks. He ranks a solid third-best athlete in a household of three.
