Peter Ferguson is a connoisseur of gas station food and mocha drinks. Nicknamed a 'visionary' by a mentor, he embodies Dr. Maya Angelou's mission, thriving with passion, compassion, humor, and style. With 25 years of experience in various sectors, including education and non-profits, Peter serves as Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC's Primary Belief Officer, focusing on the report card of A's of life.

Despite his appearance, he hosts the weekly show 93.7 The Ticket Bigger Than the Score and is the third-best athlete in his own home (there are only three people). Peter emphasizes the importance of relationships in fostering hope, resilience, inclusion, belonging, healing, and positive outcomes.

With a career spanning 25 years across multiple industries, Peter Ferguson's expertise in adult and youth development, leadership, inclusion, belonging, and engagement is unparalleled. His experience in K-12, post-secondary, for-profit, nonprofit, governmental, supplemental agencies, community, and funders instills confidence in his clients/attendees, assuring them of his ability to provide tangible strategies and takeaways for success and challenges.

A graduate of Hastings College (Hastings, NE), alumni affectionately refer to as the Harvard of the Midwest. He began his career at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lincoln as a nonprofit executive at Leadership Lincoln, Inc. For 28 years, he has been the lead adult advisor for the annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Rally. He hosts weekly 93.7 The Ticket "Bigger Than the Score" and is the Coordinator of Culture, Inclusion, and Scholar Development for Lincoln Public Schools and Assistant Supervisor of Recruitment. He is also the founder and primary belief officer of Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC, founded on the belief that all deserve Relationship A’s in their report card of life.

Ferguson is a recipient of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Chancellor's Fulfilling the Dream Award, N.A.A.C.P. Community Service Award, and Y.W.C.A. Mentors and Allies Award. He continues to honor his mother, a 40-year educator, as a champion in the fight against Alzheimer's. Additionally, his work is featured in the Heartland Emmy-nominated Lincoln Public Schools Documentary "We Will Not Be Silent."

On a personal level, Peter Ferguson is a professional and a connoisseur of gas station food and mocha drinks. His role as a Girl-Dad to Jaden, alongside his wife Stephanie, brings him immense joy and fulfillment, making him relatable and approachable.
