He founded Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC, and currently works for Lincoln Public Schools. Peter also hosts 93.7 The Ticket Bigger Than the Score; his work is the foundation of the Emmy-nominated We Will Not Be Silent; completed 4 marathons, pending author, proud dad of girls, and an unapologetic fan of the Dallas Cowboys and gas-station food.

Known for inspiring individuals and institutions to align their values, systems, and hearts, Peter brings more than 25 years of experience across the education, nonprofit, corporate, government, and community organization sectors. His work blends strategic clarity with authentic connection, helping people lean in louder with intention and impact.

As Founder and Primary Belief Officer of Peter Ferguson BHS, LLC and an 18-year tenure with various roles and titles at Lincoln Public Schools (Nebraska), Peter champions belonging, equity, and growth for adults and youth alike. He designs experiences that foster sustained culture change through action and alignment.

A former nonprofit executive and host of the weekly radio show Bigger Than the Score on 93.7 The Ticket, Peter’s impact has included receiving the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Chancellor’s Fulfilling the Dream Award for advancing the values of Dr. King and the YWCA Mentors and Allies Award for leadership in mentoring. His story was featured in the Heartland Emmy-nominated documentary We Will Not Be Silent, underscoring his wide-reaching influence beyond the stage.

Beyond the mic, classroom, and meeting room, Peter honors his late mother’s legacy—a 40-year educator—by advocating in the fight against Alzheimer’s. He is a proud girl dad, an avid fan of gas station snacks and mocha drinks, and the self-proclaimed third-best athlete in a household of three. He may not win every game at home, but he always shows up ready to play his card each day.
