The Nebraska Municipal Clerks Institute and Academy is an annual continuing education professional seminar held in Nebraska during March of each year for municipal clerks in Nebraska. This training program was initiated in 1976 by the, then, Department of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in conjunction with the League of Nebraska Municipalities and the Nebraska Municipal Clerks' Association section of the League of Nebraska Municipalities. The UNO School of Public Administration is responsible for operating the Institute. The Institute is accredited by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and endorsed by the League of Nebraska Municipalities.
